MONDIALE / COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

Trade Capabilities

From Commercial Agreement to Execution.

International commodity trading requires commercial agreements, documentation, shipment arrangements and payment obligations to work together.
At Mondiale, we focus on understanding these requirements, coordinating with the parties involved and maintaining clarity throughout the transaction.

OUR EXECUTION FRAMEWORK

How a Trade Comes Together

Every transaction has different requirements. Our focus is on aligning the commercial, documentary and settlement considerations involved.

01

Commercial Structuring

Trade begins with clearly defined commercial terms. Product specifications, quantity, pricing basis, delivery obligations, contractual responsibilities and payment timing must be considered together.
Where transactions involve separate purchase and sale arrangements, particular attention is given to the relationship between the respective contractual commitments.

02

Banking & Payment Arrangements

International transactions may involve documentary letters of credit and other agreed banking arrangements.
Where applicable, Mondiale coordinates documentary requirements and payment timelines with counterparties and participating banks, taking account of the conditions applicable to each transaction.
Issuance, confirmation, discounting and other banking services are provided by the relevant financial institutions, subject to their own approvals and terms.

03

Shipment & Documentation

Commercial execution depends on the alignment of shipment arrangements and supporting documentation.
Depending on the transaction, these may include bills of lading, railway consignment notes, commercial invoices, inspection documents, certificates of origin and other agreed records.
Attention to documentary requirements helps maintain consistency between commercial contracts, transport evidence and payment conditions.

04

Presentation, Settlement & Completion

Document presentation, examination, acceptance and settlement follow the arrangements agreed by the parties and, where applicable, the requirements of the relevant banking instruments.
Throughout this stage, the focus remains on contractual obligations, documentary accuracy, communication and the timely handling of outstanding transaction matters.
